Since 2020, 90 inclusivity gamechangers have been honoured on the IPA iList for their part in some of the industry’s most impactful inclusion initiatives – both through the creative work itself or through initiatives in the business.
The shortlisted candidates are from all levels of seniority and represent a wide variety of disciplines, including strategy and planning, production, talent, new business, media and creative, and account handling. Between them, they have implemented programmes and initiatives driving inclusivity in all its forms, both at a wider intersectional level and those tackling specific issues.
The shortlist will be interviewed by a judging panel chaired by Xavier Rees and made up of diversity and inclusion icons and iList alumni, before the final 2026 IPA iList is named at the IPA Talent & Diversity Conference on 28 April.
Commenting on the IPA iList shortlist, members of the judging panel said:
Xavier Rees, Group CEO, AMV BBDO and Chair of the IPA Talent Leadership Group:
“Thank you to everyone who entered this year’s IPA iList. Reading the entries is always an incredible and heartening insight into the remarkable work being done by people across the country to improve diversity, inclusion and representation in our industry.
We were overwhelmed by the astonishing passion and commitment shown by our shortlist to drive change and create a better, more inclusive industry for everyone. Congratulations to you all.
Leila Siddiqi, Director of Diversity and Inclusion, IPA:
“The IPA iList is more important today than it has ever been, given the challenging and chaotic political, social and economic global backdrop of the last year. The judges were inspired by the innovative, resilient and sophisticated lens of the shortlist across all levels of seniority.
These individuals understand the full power of positive and intersectional representation for business success, for profitability and most importantly for the long term good of the incredible talent within our industry.
Gideon Spanier, UK editor-in-chief of Campaign:
"Campaign is pleased to continue supporting the iList because it shines a spotlight on the people who are driving positive change in advertising. The contenders for the IPA iList 2026 are a cause for optimism at a time when we have seen a deprioritisation of diversity, equity and inclusion in parts of the wider world."
