Discover the commercial power of creative thinking

IPA Business Growth Conference, Wednesday 2 July

How do creativity and commerce intersect, and how can agencies take advantage of the immense power of creative thinking to fuel business growth?

Join IPA President Karen Martin at the IPA Business Growth Conference in July as she sets out her bold commercial vision and how creativity can help solve some of the toughest problems facing adland. We will then hear from illustrator, artist and entrepreneur Mr Bingo about breaking the rules, going viral and why he launched his Hate Mail Kickstarter with a rap video.

The half-day hybrid conference will also see the launch of a major new report into the current state of pricing and what agencies need to do to charge for the value they create. The research will be presented by Creative Salon’s Jeremy Lee before a panel, including Charlie Rudd, Group CEO of Leo Burnett and Publicis London, on how to put these learnings into action.

Other key content you can expect on the day:

  • Political and economic journalist Faisal Islam on whether Labour are delivering on their growth strategy, how events in the US are impacting the UK economy and where growth for adland could come from.
  • A candid look at the real role of AI in unlocking creativity and commerciality with Publicis Media’s Marcos Angelides, Genie’s Nicky Badenoch and Ear to the Ground’s Simon Luff.
  • Mediaplus UK’s Pedro Martins, OMD’s Tobi Asare, Pablo’s Gina Hood and BBH’s Ellie Olliff on how the Pitch Positive Pledge is helping agencies to regain control of the pitch process.
  • A showcase of brands, including Vinted, that are seizing on the £83bn net-zero sector and demonstrating how innovative and creative thinking has led to a better, more sustainable future.
