timeTo is the industry campaign to eradicate sexual harassment, a partnership forged in 2018 by the Advertising Association, NABS and WACL and backed by the IPA and ISBA. Workplace sexual harassment is not a thing of the past, it is happening here and now, 26% of people in our industry have experienced it during their career.
timeTo believes that the most effective form of prevention is education, their training - delivered by experts from NABS - has been experienced by over 8,000 people since its launch in 2021 and since then we have actively seen instances of sexual harassment decrease through the Advertising Association's All In survey. But there is still work to be done, we all have a responsibility to stop sexual harassment in our industry; from leaders putting measures in place to prevent it happening, to colleagues feeling safe and able to step in to be active bystanders - and all of us knowing what is and isn't appropriate behaviour.
