Social Account Manager

Job description

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Working into a Senior Account Director and alongside creative team
• Day to day client management and account admin for retained clients and projects
• Managing small budgets and detailed timing plans for delivery
• Supporting with social media measurement and analysis for clients across the agency
• Managing and overseeing content schedules for key channels (dependent on client requirements)
• Content strategy and role of social for clients, sometimes working in partnership with our data team or the media agency
• Providing guidelines, social assets and best practices for the channels
• Identify and leveraging relevant social media influencers for campaigns
• Growing relationships with platforms, agents
• Work with clients to devise and implement paid social strategy when required
• Working alongside partner agencies to implement detailed, integrated multi-channel social content campaigns



Knowledge and Experience
• Have a firm understanding of current digital and social trends and an in-depth knowledge of how these channels work
• Minimum of 4 years in a social media role in agency or in house
• Expert user of content management and monitoring systems for social media
• Excellent understanding of social analytics platforms and KPI reporting
• Experience with managing influencer/creator campaigns
• Extensive knowledge of the online media landscape
• Understanding of digital channels and new trends
• Finger on the pulse with new technologies
• Strong project management abilities
• Basic content creation skills (video and graphics)
