The Clients

You will sit within a team being built under one Managing Partner which comprises one Business Director, two Account Directors, two Managers and two Executives. The split of your time will be roughly 70% Hammerson and 30% Mandarin Oriental hotels.

Hammerson operate across on and offline channels and you will be a central part of Hammerson One team, delivering on an exciting new structure and strategy for them. You’ll be instrumental in building and owning the relationship and rapport with the 10 marketing managers from the different retail centers. You’ll be collaborating with creative, digital, audio, TV, tech and production teams to make this happen, as well as aligning with our planning team in Ireland. This client like to have fun with lots of personality, and will want to be having lots of calls to get to know each other and keep communications flowing. You’ll be managing an executive and reporting into a planning AD to ensure all event and always-on plans are delivered and managed according to our new joint creative and media strategy.

MANDARIN ORIENTAL HOTELS GROUP has been a client of the agency group for 13+ years. We operate their media plan globally from the UK office, so this account is a fabulous opportunity to get some worldwide media planning experience under your belt. This is a luxury account in which the clients expect a high level of service and presentation which befits their luxury hotel offering around the world in 30 locations.

Who we are looking for

This role would benefit an ambitious, individual who has the vision and skills to move the brands forward in new directions. You need to have great communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills – our clients like to be challenged but with diplomacy. Close attention to detail, people management skills and a positive attitude are also crucial.

You will need to have a firm foundation in both traditional media (TV, OOH, Audio, Print etc) and digital. You will be expected to develop ideas both internally and within a cross-agency group that challenge our clients and make their brands famous.

You will need to be confident managing both up to the AD and BD as well as down to the Account Execs on your wider team. With the Manager role comes responsibility for the planning product and also for the growth and development of the people under you.

The Package

Standard holiday is 25 days per annum. After 5 years' continous service you will recieve an extra 5 days boosting the allowance to 30 days annually.
